Hope eyed for Nordic training site

The District of Hope has plans to promote this area as a sports destination — but they probably haven’t included dryland cross country skiing as one of their targeted sports.

If you live near Kawkawa Lake or the Hope Airport, you may have seen the group of six young men wheeling along the side of the road on their short land-skis during the last week of August. Others may have seen them bounding up the Hope Lookout trail, where they did the Hope Hustle run in about 18 minutes. read more
