Graeme Killick of the Banff Ski Runners has qualified for the World Junior Championships to take place in Praz-de Lys France at the end of January. After the three qualifcation races that took palce this past week Killick emerged as the top ranked skier.

After placing second in the first qualification race, a 15km skate race, Greame, set out the following day with a vengeance, in the 20km pursuit race. After skiing away from his competitors during the first 3.5 kilometres, he never looked back and opened up a incredibly lead of over two minutes by the end of the race.

To cap off a successful three days of racing Graeme placed third in his least favoured event of classic sprinting.
